ARC Group is partnering with a national nsurance client to identify a Vice President of Claims for its Commercial Auto division. This high-impact leadership role is based in the South Florida office and offers a hybrid work schedule following an initial onsite integration period.
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned claims executive to influence the strategic direction of the claims organization, optimize operations, and elevate performance in a fast-paced, growth-minded environment. You will work closely with senior leadership, including direct collaboration with the President, to drive results and continuous improvement across the claims lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic oversight and day-to-day execution of the Commercial Auto claims function.
- Drive operational excellence through the development of best practices, workflows, and KPIs.
- Cultivate a collaborative team culture while mentoring and empowering department leaders.
- Monitor loss trends, reserves, and claims expense performance, making data-driven adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal claims regulations, including the Unfair Claims Practices Act.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex, high-exposure claims and serious loss oversight.
- Align claims operations with corporate objectives, managing budgets and resource planning.
- Collaborate across departments to support business goals and customer satisfaction.
- Deliver ongoing technical and regulatory training for claims professionals.
- Maintain policies, procedures, and controls that support quality claims outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven ability to lead and scale high-performing claims operations.
- Strong knowledge of Commercial Auto insurance products, practices, and compliance.
- Proficiency with claims systems and analytics tools.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with executive presence.
Requirements:
- Six or more years of progressive claims experience.
- Five years management of Commercial Auto claims at a senior level.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred along with AIC, CPCU or similar industry recognized certification
