The Triage Nurse, under the supervision of the Nurse Supervisor, supports the Provider Care Team and assists medical providers with patient examinations and treatments. The Triage Nurse will perform both independent functions and dependent functions as directed by healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and escort patients.
Prepare patients for examinations and perform basic health screenings.
Perform chart reviews.
Handle front desk duties (insurance verification, patient check-in/out, scheduling).
Manage exam room supplies and sterilization of equipment.
Administer injections and provide medication information under provider supervision.
Document medical records and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Answer and direct phone calls.
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Delaware.
Computer literacy and familiarity with medical service software.
Ability to work a scheduled 40-hour workweek.
CPR certification.
Skills and Competencies:

Additional Information:
This is an hourly position under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
