IDR is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join one of our top clients in Denver, CO. Position Overview for the Technical Business Analyst:
You will be conducting a code review of the Oracle data warehouse, specifically focusing on the student assessment data used to evaluate performance. This project is currently in the QA phase and transitioning to production. You will support the teams through technical analysis, process improvements, and system documentation while facilitating communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct technical analysis and documentation to identify inefficiencies in the current system.
Recommend improvements for the ETL process to optimize performance and efficiency.
Lead or participate in meetings to gather requirements from stakeholders and act as a liaison between teams.
Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and resolve issues.
Perform SQL-based analysis, including working with stored procedures and database systems.
Support the migration of the system from QA to production.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Required Skills & Experience for the Technical Business Analyst:
At least 3 years of Business Analysis experience, with 5+ years being ideal.
Strong technical background with a focus on system analysis and business process improvements.
Proficiency in SQL, including experience with stored procedures.
Familiarity with ETL processes, specifically with a focus on performance optimization.
Strong communication and facilitation skills, able to effectively lead meetings and document requirements.
Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with Informatica.
Experience with Power BI.
Basic knowledge of database administration.

Compensation: 60-65/hr based on experience level
