Tax Accountant
Ponte Vedra, FL (On-site)
Tax Season is almost over and ARC Group is seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to join our dynamic and growing team at our client's Ponte Vedra, FL location. This role offers the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients and gain exposure to diverse tax-related challenges. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in public accounting and tax preparation, with proficiency in preparing tax returns for individuals, S-corporations, partnerships, trusts, C-corporations, non-profits, and state filings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, non-profits, and state filings.
- Perform tax research and provide consulting on tax-related issues.
- Assist clients with tax planning and compliance strategies.
- Work with clients to gather necessary documentation and ensure accurate reporting.
- Utilize accounting software, including QuickBooks, for tasks such as trial balance reconciliation and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all client needs are met promptly and accurately.
- Stay updated on tax laws and industry changes.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting and tax preparation.
- Bachelors Degree is required (preferrbly in Accounting), Masters is preferred.
- CPA, Enrolled Agent or on track to be taking the exams
- Proficiency in tax preparation for individual, S-corp, partnership, trust, C-corp, and non-profit returns.
- Experience with CHH products or UltraTax is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and accounting software.
- Ability to work effectively in an office setting.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
