Weston, FL (Part-Time - 20 Hours) Position Summary:
We are seeking a Part-Time Customer Service Team Lead responsible for overseeing and directing customer service operations related to Supply Chain Warehouse functions. This includes answering inquiries from internal Supply Chain departments and RCG Shipboard personnel, managing warehouse operations, and ensuring timely and accurate handling of receiving, shipping, and documentation requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inquiry Management: Ensure timely and accurate responses to inquiries from the Fleet and Supply Chain departments, including resolving receiving discrepancies, handling unknown (quarantine) shipments, providing shipping/loading details, addressing documentation issues, and researching invoices in dispute.
- Team Leadership: Provide training and supervision to the outsourced team handling daily customer service tasks.
- Documentation & Compliance: Instruct suppliers, warehouse staff, and internal departments on documentation, DOT requirements, and state/local regulations to ensure compliance. Coordinate with the transportation department on steamship bookings and loadings, and ensure shipments are handled according to the Master Load Schedule (MLS).
- Invoice Audits: Perform assigned audit steps for invoices in dispute (IIDs).
- Reporting: Generate and present operational metric reports and service issue updates to Senior Management.
- Supplier & Warehouse Coordination: Address non-conformances with suppliers and warehouse teams, collaborating with Procurement Buyers and Commodity Managers.
- Additional Duties: Perform other job-related duties as assigned. This position may require additional tasks beyond the responsibilities listed.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:
- 3 or more years of experience in Supply Chain or a related field, or a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Certification in Air and Sea Transport Regulations for Hazardous Materials.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse scheduling and operational procedures.
- Familiarity with the Master Load Schedule (MLS) and its application.
- Strong understanding of Hazardous Materials handling, including SDS requirements and documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of staff and management.
- Ability to write clear reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to queries from managers, suppliers, and the public.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic mathematical skills for spreadsheet analysis.
