IDR is seeking a Software Engineer to join one of our top clients for a fully remote opportunity within the United States. This role offers the chance to work with a wide range of technologies and contribute to impactful software solutions in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Overview:

We’re looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy software applications across both back-end and front-end technologies. This role involves working with modern development tools and frameworks, including .NET technologies, AWS Cloud, and ReactJS, among others. The ideal candidate will be comfortable collaborating with developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to deliver robust, high-quality applications.

Technical Environment:

• VB.Net, ASP.Net, ADO.Net, VBScript, IIS

• Visual Studio 2019 & 2022, .NET Core, C#, MVC

• Microservices architecture, REST APIs

• AWS Cloud

• ReactJS, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, Bootstrap, CSS

• SQL Server, SQL Reporting Services

• File formats: XML, fixed-width, comma-delimited

• Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel skills a plus)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience

• Strong background in .NET-based development, including VB.Net, ASP.Net, and ADO.Net

• Experience with AWS cloud services and RESTful API development

• Solid front-end development experience with ReactJS and modern JavaScript frameworks

• Proficiency in SQL Server and experience building reports with SQL Reporting Services

• Familiarity with a variety of data formats and data mapping practices

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams
