Responsibilities of the SharePoint Administrator:
Administer and support SharePoint environment, including maintenance, patching, backup, and recovery tasks.
Monitor system performance and storage, implementing optimizations as needed to ensure reliability and efficiency.
Manage user permissions, site collections, libraries, and lists to maintain proper access and content structure.
Provide technical support and training for end users; escalate complex issues and maintain support documentation.
Collaborate on business solutions and develop workflows, dashboards, and customizations using SharePoint tools and Power Platform.
Required Skills for the SharePoint Administrator:
5+ years of hands-on experience administering SharePoint (2013/2016/2019 and/or SharePoint Online).
Deep understanding of SharePoint architecture, services, and permissions management.
Proficient in PowerShell scripting for administrative tasks and automation.
Familiar with Microsoft Power Platform tools like Power Automate and Power Apps.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and end-user support skills with a customer-focused approach.
