Responsibilities:- Oversee and manage the execution of batch jobs to ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Monitor batch schedules and workflows to optimize system performance and efficiency.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve batch processing failures or delays, minimizing business disruptions.
- Perform batch administration tasks, including scheduling, configuration, and dependency management.
- Lead incident response efforts, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Develop and implement automation scripts and tools to streamline batch operations and reduce manual intervention.
Requirements:- Proven experience in batch monitoring, batch administration, and batch processing in a large-scale IT environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex batch failures.
- Hands-on experience with batch scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M, Autosys, IBM Tivoli, etc.).
- Knowledge of automation scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Shell Scripting) to improve batch efficiency.
- Familiarity with system performance tuning, resource monitoring, and log analysis.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills, with attention to detail.
