Position Overview/Responsibilities for the QA Engineer:

- Collaborate with QA leadership to define and drive the quality strategy at the team level
- Partner with developers and producers to understand features and assess risk
- Build and execute test plans, write and maintain test cases, and set the rhythm for team testing
- Own and maintain the team's defect database, ensuring issues are triaged, tracked, and actioned
- Coordinate and audit work from external QA partners to uphold quality and efficiency

Required Skills for QA Engineer:

- 2+ years of experience in software QA or related roles
- Experience testing service-based or distributed systems
- Familiarity with testing web front ends or UI-heavy applications
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience creating test plans and tracking test progress against goal
