The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager with project direction, planning, completion, and financial outcome. In order to succeed in this position, the candidate must be organized and have excellent time management skills. 
 
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Performs a key role supporting the Project Manager in all aspects of Plumbing & HVAC construction
  • Works with and supports Field supervisors
  • Attends project meetings as necessary
  • Responsible for keeping project logs updated and current
  • Prices change orders
  • Handles all aspects of RFI’s (Request For Information) in conjunction with Project Manager
  • Assists in Submittal process
  • Assists in procurement process
  • Works with BIM department in a support role, attends BIM coordination meetings as necessary
  • Downloads project files and distributes to team members
  • Manages responses from design team and distributes to team members
  • Assists in developing Man-loading charts in conjunction with foreman and Superintendents
  • Ensures timeliness of submissions to Contractor
  • Assists Project Manager in project projection process
  • Performs printing and copying tasks as needed and directed
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Mechanical, business degree, or related plumbing or mechanical systems experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer skills to include Microsoft Excel, Word and Project
  • Able to listen and follow through on directions provided
  • Desire to work in a team environment while learning on the job
  • Education:
    • B.S. in construction engineering management
    • B.S. in construction management
    • B.S. in Mechanical engineering
