Job Summary
Locum Emergency Medicine physician needed at a community hospital in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula
Facility volume: 18,000 annually (approx. 50 encounters per day)
Coverage model: 24-hour MD coverage, 12-hour NP/PA coverage
Shift times: 7a–7p and 7p–7a (MD); 11a–11p (NPPA)
Must be board certified by ABEM
Must be willing to work both day and night shifts
Requires at least 2 years of Emergency Medicine case log experience
Credentialing Requirements
Active Michigan medical license and DEA
Clean malpractice and disciplinary file
ABEM board certification
Estimated credentialing time: 60 days
