The Role
Franciscan Health is seeking Emergency Medicine locum coverage beginning July 1, 2025 through November 1, 2025 to fill a full-time vacancy. Providers will work in a dynamic ER setting with a supportive team and multiple site opportunities within the Franciscan system.
• Start Date: July 1, 2025
• End Date: November 1, 2025
• Schedule: Flexible
• Call: No
• Assignment Type: Full-time locum coverage
• Facility System Coverage:
o Primary: Michigan City, IN
o Additional Franciscan sites: LaPorte, Rensselaer, Munster, Dyer, Chesterton, Crawfordsville, Lafayette East
• Certifications Accepted:
o ABEM preferred
o FP/IM with emergency medicine experience accepted at select locations
• Credentialing: [Days to credential TBD – expedited options may be available]

Requirements:
• Board Certified/Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine (with ED experience)
• Active Indiana medical license or in progress
• Clean background for credentialing
