Job Description:
Responsibilities for Physical Therapist:
- Average caseload: 8-10 patients/day
- Develop individual treatment plans for each patient
- Document patient progress
- Evaluate mobility, strength, and current function, setting goals for improvement
- Develop follow-up care plans for patients, including in-home care services
Qualifications for Physical Therapist:
- Well-rounded PT with experience in dry needling
- Ability to assist and direct treatments provided by aides, technicians, and assistants
- Knowledge of responsible use and maintenance of facility equipment
- Experience recommending assistive equipment and following up with outpatient or home health programs
- BS or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from a program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association
- Skills in orthopedics, pediatrics, and sports medicine
