Location: Dr. Bhawna R. Bahethi Position: Nurse Practitioner Well established Primary Care Practice in Glen Burnie, MD seeking a Nurse Practitioner. We provide a competitive salary and excellent benefits (include, health, dental, 401k, educational etc). Candidates must be board certified and clinical experience in primary care is essential. We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our primary care team of 2 providers. Responsibilities Examine patients and their medical records, diagnose health conditions and illnesses and order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc) Propose treatments and prescribe medications for chronic and acute diseases Maintain accurate records and schedules Educate patients and their family members on diseases, epidemics and prevention Oversee patients’ overall health, by promoting good health practices and help them lead healthy lives Advance professional knowledge and conduct research Skills Proven experience as Nurse Practitioner in a clinic, hospital, ER or other setting Expertise in primary care, acute care and chronic care practices Knowledge of health and patient care regulations Strong ethics Team spirit with a positive attitude, working closely with our staff and other healthcare professionals Patience and cool-headedness, problem-solving skills and communication ability Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience • Valid nurse practitioner license Master’s degree; PhD is a plus
