Well established Primary Care Practice in Glen Burnie, MD seeking a Nurse Practitioner.

Candidates must be board certified and clinical experience in primary care is essential.
We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our primary care team of 2 providers.
Responsibilities
- Examine patients and their medical records, diagnose health conditions and illnesses and order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc)
- Propose treatments and prescribe medications for chronic and acute diseases
- Maintain accurate records and schedules
- Educate patients and their family members on diseases, epidemics and prevention
- Oversee patients’ overall health, by promoting good health practices and help them lead healthy lives
- Advance professional knowledge and conduct research
Skills
- Proven experience as Nurse Practitioner in a clinic, hospital, ER or other setting
- Expertise in primary care, acute care and chronic care practices
- Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
- Strong ethics
- Team spirit with a positive attitude, working closely with our staff and other healthcare professionals
- Patience and cool-headedness, problem-solving skills and communication ability
- Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience • Valid nurse practitioner license
- Master’s degree; PhD is a plus
