Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Network Security Advisor II:
- Oversee the security of traffic signal and intersection systems across the city
- Implement and manage firewalls, ensuring robust remote access security
- Analyze and engineer solutions for traffic security, ensuring safe and efficient system operations
- Collaborate with teams to assess risk and optimize network infrastructure
- Support the development and implementation of intelligent traffic system security measures
Required Skills for Network Security Advisor II:
- Senior-level experience in network security, with a strong background in firewalls and remote access
- Hands-on experience with intelligent traffic system design and security preferred
- Extensive knowledge of Cisco networking equipment and protocols
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess risks and engineer security solutions
