IDR is excited to announce an opportunity for an ambitious and experienced Mitigation Project Manager to join one of our top clients in the restoration field!
Position Overview & Responsibilities for the Mitigation Project Manager:
Oversee the entire lifecycle of mitigation projects, ensuring smooth execution from start to completion.
Lead teams, manage project timelines, and ensure high-quality work is delivered.
Maintain clear communication with clients, adjusters, and team members to ensure project milestones are met.
Perform site inspections, develop detailed scopes of work, and track project progress to ensure accuracy.
Ensure adherence to industry standards, protocols, and safety guidelines throughout all phases of the project.
Required Skills for the Mitigation Project Manager:
Restoration Experience: In-depth knowledge of the restoration, insurance, and construction industries, including expertise in water, fire, or mold mitigation. IICRC certifications are a plus!
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to take charge, motivate teams, and manage projects to successful completion.
Self-Starter: Capable of working independently with minimal oversight, managing your own time and tasks effectively.
Hands-On Approach: Willingness to jump in and assist on-site when needed to ensure project success.
Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to engage with clients, team members, and adjusters to address challenges and ensure smooth project flow.
Additional Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
A valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
Experience leading teams of five or more individuals.
Minimum of 5 years in Restoration Project Management or Assistant Project Management (APM).
Availability for on-call scheduling as needed.
Preferred Certifications:
ASD – Applied Structural Drying Technician
WRT – Water Damage Restoration Technician
OCT – Odor Control Technician
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Ability to regularly lift up to 70 pounds and perform tasks that involve carrying, pushing, pulling, or repositioning objects.
Must be comfortable standing, walking, squatting, crawling, and crouching for extended periods.
Ability to work in confined spaces such as attics and crawlspaces.
Must be able to wear respirators when required for safety purposes.
Exposure to a range of indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, both with and without temperature control.
