Our client, a non-profit organization located in Lancaster, PA is seeking an Intake Customer Service professional to serve as the first point of contact for clients. This role involves providing trauma-informed customer service, assessing client needs, and connecting them to appropriate resources. Responsibilities include identifying housing discrimination cases, making referrals to counseling and support services, and guiding clients through enrollment processes to access programs and services.

Essential Functions

  1. Provide excellent customer service in person, by phone, or electronically.
  2. Collect and manage client personal, contact, and demographic information.
  3. Facilitate client entry into internal or external programs and gather required documentation.
  4. Schedule and confirm counseling appointments, manage cancellations/reschedules, and update client systems.
  5. Obtain necessary client signatures and documents for counseling services.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  1. Strong customer service, organizational, and time management skills.
  2. Detail-oriented with proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Teams).
  3. Excellent communication skills; Spanish fluency preferred.
  4. Cultural sensitivity and commitment to client empowerment and personal growth.
  5. Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and service providers.

LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT: Temp (2 months)
START DATE: ASAP (pending interviews)
PAY RATE: $17/hr.
HOURS: M-F, 8-4:30pm
DRESS CODE: Business Casual
