Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Inbound Routing Transportation Manager:

Project Management: Conduct a comprehensive analysis of inbound transportation costs across approximately 60 suppliers and 1.2 million annual purchase orders, including ship-from and ship-to data, piece counts, and weights.

Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams and external carriers to gather rate proposals and establish potential cost savings opportunities.

Procedure Development: Segment and evaluate the current transportation process into strategic change management categories (e.g., private fleet, controllable carriers, contractual restrictions).

Training Assessment: Recommend training or support necessary to ensure teams understand and adopt new routing strategies.

Process Evaluation: Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on current and future state analyses to drive cost-effective routing improvements.

Documentation & Reporting: Summarize findings in executive-level presentations, including headcount and technology recommendations to operationalize the strategy.

Compensation Details: $55/hr
