State Farm Agency, located in Canton, IL, is excited to announce an immediate opening for a full-time Licensed Insurance Sales Professional. We pride ourselves on being an award-winning agency dedicated to meeting the needs of our customers while fostering success within our team.
While an insurance license and experience is helpful it is not required. We provide all the training you need to become licensed and excel in your role.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services
- Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification

Who We’re Looking For:
- The ideal candidate will possess:
- An associate's degree or higher (preferred)
- Previous sales experience (preferred but not required)
- A motivated mindset with a desire to grow and succeed
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for helping others
- Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing)
- Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
- Self-motivated
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to effectively relate to a customer
- Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain)
- Life and Health license (must be able to obtain)
