Financial Analyst III Location: Jacksonville, Florida
Contract Duration: 6 months (potential for extension or full-time conversion)
ARC Group is seeking a Financial Analyst III for a contract opportunity with a direct client, a leader in the supply chain and shipping industry. This position is onsite in Jacksonville, FL, and offers the potential to extend or convert to a full-time role.

Position Overview:The Financial Analyst III will play a key role in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis, providing strategic insights to support critical business decisions. This role requires strong analytical skills, financial modeling expertise, and the ability to collaborate across teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
- Develop and maintain advanced financial models to support data-driven decision-making.
- Analyze financial data, identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial plans with business strategies.
- Prepare and present financial reports, variance analysis, and key insights to leadership.
- Enhance financial processes, reporting capabilities, and systems for improved efficiency.
- Evaluate potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions to support strategic initiatives.
- Mentor and develop FP&A team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Prioritize and manage tasks to meet deadlines and ensure effective resource allocation.
- Respond to and resolve complex financial inquiries, ensuring credible analysis and reporting.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
Experience: 5+ years in financial planning & analysis (FP&A) or accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Technical Skills:
- Expert financial modeling and analytical abilities.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement analysis, and management reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with financial management software and project management tools.
Preferred: Experience with XCM and Oracle, particularly in FP&A.
Soft Skills: - Leadership and mentoring experience.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to drive process improvements and adapt to change
