Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant Job Type: Full-time Pay: Depending on experience; Bonus opportunities available Office hours: Monday: 8 – 4:30 PM Tuesday 8-6:30 PM Wednesday 8-4:30 PM Thursday 8-4:30 PM Friday 8-4:30 PM Benefits: 401(k) Starts after 2 years, with 3% match Health Insurance AFLAC Insurance available, including dental insurance Malpractice insurance Paid time off CME paid up to $2000 a year Major holidays off Some shared call (Phone calls only) Medical Specialty: Family Practice License/Certification: Certified Nurse Practitioner (Preferred) Physician Assistant License (Preferred)   We are looking for a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to diagnose and treat health conditions, as well as promote good health. Prefer 2 years experience. The job description of an FNP or PA includes conducting physical examinations, interpreting lab tests and overseeing patients’ health. You’ll be both a health practitioner and an educator, supporting disease prevention practices and helping people lead healthy lives. You will work closely with other healthcare team professionals, so we encourage a positive attitude and team spirit. Patience, problem-solving skills and communication ability are important.   Responsibilities Examine patients and their medical records Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.) Diagnose health conditions and illnesses Propose treatments for chronic and acute diseases Prescribe medications Maintain accurate records and schedules Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications Educate patients and their family members on diseases, epidemics and prevention Oversee patients’ overall health Promote good health practices Advance professional knowledge and conduct research Skills Proven experience as Physician Assistant and/or a Nurse Practitioner in a clinic, hospital, ER or other setting Expertise in primary care, acute care, and chronic care practices Knowledge of health and patient care regulations Excellent communication skills Strong ethics Team spirit with a positive attitude Patience and cool-headedness Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience Valid Physician Assistant and/or a Nurse Practitioner license This Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is: Dependable and reliable People-oriented Adaptable/flexible Detail-oriented Achievement-oriented Autonomous/Independent Quality Oriented Please submit your resume or CV to: Sherry Kent at fnp1999@outlook.com or fax to 252-728-2628.
