Nurse Practitioner - Full Time
Location: Norwalk, OH
We are a family-friendly, independently owned family practice seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner. Enjoy control over your hours and schedule (within reason) while working in a supportive environment.
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide healthcare services typically performed by a physician, under the supervision of a physician. This includes obtaining patient histories, performing examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing treatment plans. With a valid Certificate to Prescribe, you will also prescribe medication.
Responsibilities:

Administer or order diagnostic tests

Examine patients

Instruct and counsel patients

Interpret diagnostic test results

Make diagnoses and treatment decisions

Obtain, compile and record patient medical data

Order medical and laboratory supplies

Perform injections
-
Perform minor surgical procedures

Perform therapeutic procedures

Prescribe therapy or medication

Supervise and coordinate staff activities
Qualifications:

Master’s Level prepared Certified Nurse Practitioner

Current Nurse Practitioner license in good standing

Minimum of two years prior experience preferred

DEA number or eligibility
-
Strong leadership, teamwork, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills
