Are you an Electrical Design Engineer with 2-5 years of experience looking to grow your career? 

Hybrid Schedule: 3 days In-office / 2 Remote
Salary: $93,000 - $120,000

 

General Responsibilities

 

Prior experience working on Healthcare/Hospitals building Duties:

Pre-Design Engineering

-Review existing as-built drawings.
-Perform field investigations.
-Set up drawings and models for multiple disciplines.
-Collaborate with team members regarding design coordination, schedules, and deliverables.
-Perform feasibility studies.
-Prepare schematic designs.


Design Engineering

-Perform energy calculations using EnergyPro or IES VE.
-Develop single-line diagrams and load schedules.
-Design lighting selection and controls.
-Design normal, emergency, and renewable power systems.
-Perform Arc Flash, Short Circuit, and Coordination Power System Studies.
-Experience with low voltage building systems (Fire Alarm, Security, Voice/Data, Nurse Call) systems is a plus.


Design Complexity

-Performs routine engineering work applying standard techniques. Performs basic engineering calculations.
-Prepares construction estimates and specifications for small-size projects.
-Can independently create small reports.
-Construction Administration
-Review submittals

Position Requirements

-Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering Field
-Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Certification is a plus
-LEED Accreditation a plus


 Working Knowledge

-Microsoft Office Suite
-AutoCAD
-Revit
-California Building Code
-National Electrical Code
-HCAI experience is a plus
-Net Zero Energy/Carbon experience a plus
