Position Overview/Responsibilities for the EHR Project Manager:
The project manager will be working on EHR project. Duties will include the creation of all necessary project documentation such as business case workbooks, project charters and schedule, biennial operating plans and amendments, requirements gathering, coordination, reporting, planning, researching, coordinating, evaluating project management , developing data conversion & migration plans and implementation strategy. Work with business owners, IT to oversee the solution vendor managing application/data migration efforts, assuring the use of best practices and standards, assisting in the coordination and optimization of client operations and program functions and providing recommendations. The project manager should act as liaison between business users and vendors to provide required information.
Required Skills for the EHR Project Manager:
- 10+ years’ experience as a Project Manager implementing HER applications
- 10+ years’ experience supporting databases like InterSystems Caché Database, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server
- 10+ years’ experience in EHR application domain, application migration, workflow analysis, design, development of SDLC artifacts, support using software engineering practices
