Position Overview & Responsibilities for the Datacenter Technician:

• Installation of switches and servers, and performing decommissioning work
• Working in IDF (Intermediate Distribution Frame) and data center environments
• Balancing technical skills with soft skills, including strong communication and teamwork
• Traveling 70 - 80% of the time for onsite installations for clients, including out of state travel

Required Skills for the Datacenter Technician:

• 5+ years of experience in data center roles (8 - 10 years preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Juniper and Cisco technologies
• Experience with data center infrastructure, including racks, stacks, etc.
• A+ or Network+ certification is preferred
