Position Overview & Responsibilities for the Datacenter Technician:
- Installation of switches and servers, and performing decommissioning work
- Working in IDF (Intermediate Distribution Frame) and data center environments
- Balancing technical skills with soft skills, including strong communication and teamwork
- Traveling 70 - 80% of the time for onsite installations for clients, including out of state travel
Required Skills for the Datacenter Technician:
- 5+ years of experience in data center roles (8 - 10 years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Juniper and Cisco technologies
- Experience with data center infrastructure, including racks, stacks, etc.
- A+ or Network+ certification is preferred
