Data Analyst - Media Sales & Ad Sales Marketing
IDR is seeking a talented and driven Data Analyst to join a leading media company in a full-time position. This is a great opportunity for a skilled professional to use data-driven insights to support sales efforts and position the company as a top player in the media industry.
Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Data Analyst:
- Support Media Sales and Ad Sales Marketing teams by providing compelling, data-driven insights that drive sales.
- Utilize tools such as MRI-Simmons, Nielsen, Comscore, iSpot, and Media Radar to provide critical data on the video and advertising landscape.
- Prepare custom research for agency and client presentations, ensuring relevance and clarity.
- Track research requests and match them to sales revenue on a weekly basis.
- Create and maintain recurring reports, such as viewer profiles, category analyses, and industry vertical reports.
- Distribute weekly marketplace intelligence, including insights from sources like eMarketer and Magna, to the sales team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, especially Ad Sales Marketing, to provide insights for marketing presentations and decks.
Required Skills for the Data Analyst:
- Experience with research tools such as MRI-Simmons, Nielsen, Comscore, iSpot, and Media Radar.
- Proven ability to create and deliver custom research and analysis for sales teams.
- Ability to track and manage research requests in alignment with sales revenue.
- Experience creating regular reports like viewer profiles, category analyses, and ad spending insights.
- Strong collaboration skills, especially with marketing and sales teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Compensation Details: 35/hr
