Northwest Primary Care is looking to fill a full-time position with a Certified Medical Assistant interested in working at one of our busy Family Practice clinic.
        
Provides professional nursing care in an outpatient setting following established standards and practices.   Acts as a liaison between patients and practitioners.

Essential Functions:
•        Become oriented to each practitioner and his/her area
•        Greet patients and prepare them for physical exam
•        Assess patients for any new changes or problems
•        Observes, records and reports patient’s condition and reaction to drugs and treatment
•        Maintains timely flow of patients
•        Instructs patients in collection of samples and tests
•        Arranges for patients testing
•        Responds to and refers incoming telephone calls
•        Instructs patient and family regarding medications and treatment instructions
•        Maintains and reviews patient records and other pertinent information
•        Maintains exam rooms for necessary supplies and materials
•        Administer drug therapy (except IV therapy) when ordered by practitioner and document the date, amount, site, route in the patient’s electronic health record
•        Participate in the message center
•        Phlebotomy skills required
•        Attend monthly nursing departmental meeting
•        Maintain current CPR certification
•        Attend continuing education classes and programs to maintain professional competency
•        Meet the standard of the basic skills list and proficiency testing.

Certified Medical Assistant Certification 
CPR certification.
Salary to commensurate with education, training and experience.
Salary: $20.00-$29.00
