We are seeking a BC/BE Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join an established team of physicians. As one of our anchor services, TMH is looking to expand our Integrated Cardiovascular Service Line and strengthen our growing Quaternary care program. The ideal candidate will have experience and interest in adult cardiac and thoracic surgery, minimally invasive robotic techniques, and expertise in working on the aortic arch. Experience with vascular services, TAVR, and/or endovascular services is a plus.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Adult Cardiac Surgery, including On- and Off-Pump CABG, Mitral Repair, TAVR, and arrhythmia surgery
- Endovascular and open aortic surgery, including dissection repair
- Thoracic surgical procedures, including minimally invasive lung resections, transhiatal esophagectomy, and complex anti-reflux procedures
Qualifications:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery
- State Medical License: Florida
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience (no residents/fellows at this time)
- Current Cardiology team includes:
- Five Interventional Cardiologists
- Eight Non-invasive/Imaging Cardiologists
- Four Electrophysiologists
- Four Cardiothoracic Surgeons
- Eleven Internal Medicine/Family Medicine Physicians
- Three Vascular Surgeons
Practice, ER, and Hospital Call:
- Call schedule: 1:4
- Supported by 3 APRNs
- Practice hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
- One day per week in the clinic, four days in the OR, and managing in-patients daily
Candidate Profile:
- Mid-career professional with experience in minimally invasive surgery
- Desire to be part of a busy program
- Ability to perform 10,000+ RVUs per year
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary Range: $850,000 - $900,000 for experienced candidates
- Bonus Structure: $89 per RVU
- Example: $89 x 9,000 RVUs = $800,000; $89 x 10,000 RVUs = $900,000

Timeline:
