IDR is seeking a Business Office Analyst to join one of our top healthcare clients in Dallas, TX and make a direct impact on cash flow and billing operations. Duties:
- Investigate and resolve DNFB (Discharged, Not Final Billed) patient accounts
- ???Use Cerner to access patient billing information and account history.
- Identify billing roadblocks (e.g., incorrect insurance plan, missing charges, system errors).
- Work cross-functionally with corporate teams to fix account errors.
- Ensure claims are finalized and submitted promptly to support cash flow.
- Monitor unbilled AR and work accounts to minimize backlog.
- Log findings and maintain proper documentation for audits and follow-up.
Must-Have Skills:
- Experience with Cerner Software
- 3-5 years of experience in working Denied A/R and underpaid medical accounts
- 3+ years in Revenue Cycle and/or Business office roles
- Strong experience working with unbilled AR and DNFB workflows
Nice to Have- Experience in a Corporate Business Office (CBO) setting
- Understand claim submission workflows & payer requirements
- Exposure to charge entry or billing systems (even if not coding directly)
