This is starting out as a contract position running through October 2025 with strong potential to extend longer or convert to FTE. Reference# 18049-1 Job Description: JOB SUMMARY:
Associate React Developers are responsible for the development, programming, and coding of Information Technology solutions using ReactJS, Redux, D3 and NodeJS to enable Customer Experience applications. Associate IT Developers are responsible for documenting detailed system specifications, participation in unit testing and maintenance of planned and unplanned internally developed applications, evaluation and performance testing of purchased products. Responsible for including IT Controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, as well as availability of the application and data processed or output by the application. Associate IT developers perform job functions under the supervision of IT Developers or Advanced IT Developers.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Experience designing, creating, expanding, maintaining, and retiring SQL, Express, React, and Node applications.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks like Jest, Vitest, or Node test runner.
• Experience with code release procedures like code reviews, release approvals, and release test evidence documentation.
• Experience in code and application design with tools such as Visio, Drawio, or UML diagrams.
• Experience working within change management systems such as Remedy.
• Experience with programming languages such as JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with the basic web languages: JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with git based version control systems like Gitlab or GitHub.
• Experience with deployment systems including Jenkins, Docker, OpenShift, Artifactory, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with browser features like local storage, local caches, cookies, fetch, headers, browser compatibility, and worker threads.
• Experience in database design and use with tools like relational and/or document based databases such as MongoDB.
• Experience in development environment tooling like Vite, Visual Studio Code, Prettier and ESLint.
• Experience implementing application security using JWT, OIDC, OAuthv2, or SAML.
• Experience with npm libraries such as typescript, zod, express, react, axios, and mui/material-ui.
• Experience debugging and profiling using logging and debugging tools.
• Solid knowledge of the DOM, listeners, events, async, and promises.
• Experience designing reactive UIs using flex and grid styling systems.
• Experience developing functional component React applications using hooks, contexts, and asynchronous behavior.
• Proficiency using standard desktop applications such as the Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Visio).
• High critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy.
• Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
In addition to strong REACT and Node Development skills.
• Experience working directly with application users for troubleshooting and feature confirmation.
• Experience in related technologies like Java, Groovy, Python, or PowerShell.
• Ability to present on application usage and benefits.
Required Work Experience:
2+ years related work experience, Professional experience with technical design and coding in the IT industry
Required Education:
HS Diploma or GED
Most important additional skills:
Ability to work directly with application users and architects to troubleshoot and demo features
Preferred:
Experience with Python or Powershell scripting
Full Stack development experience
