Job Description:
Lead Staffing is actively seeking experienced Lineman for a project in Fort Lauderdale. Journeyman Linemen are responsible for building and maintaining electric power systems and for restoring electric service to commercial, industrial, agricultural and residential customers. They are expected to test, frame and set poles; climb poles, work in confined spaces; splice and terminate cables, builds, maintains, and repairs electrical power systems, including overhead and underground lines, equipment, and distribution systems: This would be a permanent position.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for installing Aerial fiber optic cables along utility poles using specialized equipment.
- Handles cable pulling and secures the lines to existing infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide efficient solutions.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with project teams and communicate effectively.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Lineman
- Experience of working at heights up to 60 feet, Use of climbing and lifting equipment.
- Safety certification for aerial work.
- Familiarity with codes and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to pass a drug test & background check.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various environments and conditions.
- Tools of the trade (PPE).
- Reliable transportation.
