Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Freelance 3D Animation + Motion Designer:
- Apply your expertise in 3D animation tools such as Cinema 4D, Redshift, Octane, and Blender, while also demonstrating strong proficiency in 2D motion graphics and post-production tools like Adobe After Effects, Premiere, and Illustrator.
- Collaborate closely with creative directors, designers, copywriters, and project managers to align on the project vision and ensure seamless delivery of creative assets.
- Pitch and present concepts clearly to internal teams and stakeholders, articulating visual direction, motion approach, and animation strategy.
- Enhance final deliverables by utilizing video editing, color correction, sound design, and VFX techniques.
- Maintain technical expertise in 3D animation and motion design workflows, ensuring deliverables meet the creative direction and objectives of the brand.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality work on time and within deadlines.
- Create compelling storyboards and animations that align with the brand’s goals, while pushing creative boundaries in both design and execution.
- 5-7 years of experience in 3D animation, motion design, video editing, or related creative fields.
- Proficiency in 3D animation tools such as Cinema 4D, Redshift, Octane, and Blender.
- Strong experience with 2D motion graphics using Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, and proficiency in video editing, sound design, and VFX.
- Moderate to proficient understanding of Figma and the ability to collaborate effectively with design teams.
- Deep understanding of motion design best practices for various platforms, including social, broadcast, and digital.
- Strong communication skills to pitch concepts and collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to iterate and respond to feedback constructively.
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects at once.
